LAS VEGAS, NV –January 3, 2022 -- Impact Las Vegas, a nonprofit women’s giving circle, will award $83,000 to a Southern Nevada charitable organization in June 2022.
Impact Las Vegas consists of women who donate $1,000 each year by December 31st. 100% of these membership donations is pooled and given out as an annual Grant to a Southern Nevada nonprofit organization to fund a project or program in one of five focus areas: Culture, Education, Environment, Family, or Health & Wellness.
According to board President and Grants Committee Co-Chair, Wendy Waite, the 2022 grant award of $83,000 represents the combined giving from 83 Members. In June 2022 these Impact Las Vegas Members will each cast one vote to determine their nonprofit grant recipient.
“In our collective-giving organization“ she explained, “each woman’s individual membership donation is pooled so that we can make a bigger difference and have a more significant impact with our charitable giving than any of us may be able to do alone, AND we get to see exactly how our money is spent.
