In 2019, we awarded $50,000 to Eye Care 4 Kids. In the 2017-2018 academic school year, Eye Care 4 Kids provided vision services to just under 11,000 Clark County School District students. Of those students, approximately 8,100 were supplied with eyeglasses. Eye Care 4 Kids receive calls and emails on a weekly basis from parent and school representatives inquiring about an affordable way to assist their child/student to obtain replacement corrective eyeglasses who desperately need them when they become broken or lost. With a $50,000 grant from Impact Las Vegas, Eye Care 4 Kids created the Patient Eyeglass Replacement Fund (PERF) to assist students with their visual needs. This was a brand-new program.
