-WOMEN’S COLLECTIVE GIVING GROUP INVITES LOCAL NONPROFITS TO APPLY-

LAS VEGAS, NV –January 4, 2021 -- Impact Las Vegas, a nonprofit women’s giving circle, will award $67,000 to a Southern Nevada charitable organization in June 2021.

Impact Las Vegas consists of women who donate $1,000 each year by December 31st. 100% of these membership donations is pooled and given out as an annual grant to a Southern Nevada nonprofit organization to fund a project or program in one of five focus areas:  Culture, Education, Environment, Family, or Health & Wellness.

According to Founder & President Maureen Romito, the 2021 grant award of $67,000 represents the combined giving from 67 Members. In June 2021 these Impact Las Vegas Members will each cast one vote to determine their nonprofit grant recipient.

“In our collective-giving organization,“ she explained, “each woman’s individual membership donation is pooled so that we can make a bigger difference and have a more significant impact with our charitable giving than any of us may be able to do alone, AND we get to see exactly how our money is spent. So far, we have donated a total of $236,530 to the Southern Nevada community. Our grant award in June will bring that total to $303,530. ”
