Grants

In 2015, the organization awarded our second grant, for $18,000 to Nevada Child Seekers. This grant expanded Nevada Child Seekers’ “Be Brave” youth empowerment program. “Be Brave” is a self-esteem boosting initiative developed in conjunction with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Symbolic Arts Center, and the Clark County School district. Students in 36 Clark County schools participate in and own their school’s Be Brave Youth Empowerment Program giving them the skills, knowledge, support, and confidence to stand up to bullying when it happens to them and identify and combat bullying when it happens to someone else.
